Karumi is the Japanese word for "lightness". The famous Japanese poet Basho used it to mean "the beauty of ordinary things spoken of in a simple way".

Hmmm... I would think the bird would go by scent, but perhaps they go by color as well. Great capture of the experience.
This one, apparently, went by color. Mike was the one that saw it.
