We walk together
balancing in too-tall shoes
Are we grown up yet?
Karumi is the Japanese word for "lightness". The famous Japanese poet Basho used it to mean "the beauty of ordinary things spoken of in a simple way".

Well, I've never been able to walk in high-heels. I'd like to think when I was young I couldn't and that there wasw a time when I could, then I got older I couldn't. But seriously, I never enjoyed it. When I worked as a secretary I did wear minimal heels. Now I can't even fathom that.
Fun poem!!!
Believe it or not, there was a time when I wore high heals, although not too often.
