Karumi is the Japanese word for "lightness". The famous Japanese poet Basho used it to mean "the beauty of ordinary things spoken of in a simple way".
Well, I've never been able to walk in high-heels. I'd like to think when I was young I couldn't and that there wasw a time when I could, then I got older I couldn't. But seriously, I never enjoyed it. When I worked as a secretary I did wear minimal heels. Now I can't even fathom that. Fun poem!!!
Believe it or not, there was a time when I wore high heals, although not too often.
