Karumi is the Japanese word for "lightness". The famous Japanese poet Basho used it to mean "the beauty of ordinary things spoken of in a simple way".
Grab the dogRun insideThere's a snake!!eeekkkkkkkkkkThat would have been my reaction and I love nature. But little snakies scare me big time.
Awww, it was just a garter snake! ;)
I'm not sticking around long enough to find out what kind of snake it is. Now, however, if it is someone's pet, and they assure me it is safe, it can climb all over me. Weird, eh? Ask your dh about the time he had to save me from a viscious snake in my yard.
I remember that, LOL! I'm totally cool if the "owner" tells me its safe too! DH has assured me that garter snakes, and corn snakes etc. are good for the garden. :)
